Madison is the friendly face that greets clients at our Perth office. As Receptionist she welcomes clients, manages incoming calls and helps keep the office running smoothly.

Prior to joining bdhSterling, Madison gained valuable customer service experience working in retail and hospitality, developing the skills she now brings to her role at bdhSterling. She is currently studying towards a Bachelor of Commerce at Curtin University.

Originally from Bogotá, Colombia, Madison enjoys reading and staying active in her spare time.

What’s your best tip for anyone moving to Australia?

Immerse yourself in the new culture. Taking the time to explore and understand different aspects of life, from food and traditions to hobbies and communication styles, can make settling into a new environment both easier and more rewarding.

What’s the best thing about living in Australia?

As an Australian, the best thing about living here is the multicultural environment. I am extremely grateful to have grown up here, especially in my high school years, as being exposed to different cultures gave me the opportunity to broaden my perspective and develop strong communication skills.

What gives you the most satisfaction at work?

Developing and refining my professional skills. Having previously worked in hospitality, I've enjoyed transitioning into a receptionist role, learning new ways of working and applying my existing customer service skills in a professional office environment.

What’s the best thing about working for bdhSterling?

How welcoming everyone has been. Having not worked in an environment similar to bdhSterling, it was nerve-wracking, but I was at ease immediately. People have taken time to explain things and answered my questions, making starting here much more comfortable.
