Daniel joined bdhSterling in October 2017 as a UK Transfer Coordinator and has progressed through the business to become a Senior Financial Planner and Pension Transfer Specialist. Working closely with clients and their Australian advisers, he helps individuals navigate their UK pension options and develop tailored strategies to achieve their long-term financial goals.
Over the years, Daniel has helped many people navigate the move between the UK and Australia. He takes a practical and personalised approach to advice, ensuring clients feel informed and confident in their financial decisions.
Daniel studied Business Management at the University of Gloucestershire in the UK before moving to Malta and subsequently New York to begin his career in finance. He eventually moved to Australia, where he obtained his Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning. Daniel also holds a UK Diploma in Financial Planning, making him a dual-licensed adviser across Australia and the UK.
Having lived in both countries, he has a unique insight into the challenges and opportunities his clients face. This first-hand experience enables him to provide high quality advice and solutions.

In the UK the term “Financial Planner” refers to professionals who meet UK regulatory and qualification standards, including FCA requirements. Our UK team members hold appropriate certifications and adhere to local regulations. For easy identification, our UK advisers will have (UK) at the end of their title.
In Australia the titles “Financial Planner” and “Financial Adviser” are legally restricted under the Corporations Act. Only ASIC-registered professionals listed on the Financial Adviser Register may use these titles when providing personal advice. Our Australian team complies fully with these requirements, and their credentials can be verified via the ASIC register.
