Jessica joined bdhSterling in late 2016, starting as a receptionist and going on to become an administrator, eventually progressing to her current role as a paraplanner. She thrives in a team environment, and plays a significant part in helping clients achieve what they’ve set out to do.
This is Jessica’s first role in finance, and one she finds both interesting and rewarding. She particularly enjoys helping to train new team members.
What’s your best tip for anyone moving to Australia?
I’d definitely recommend researching Australian slang before arrival - Aussies will abbreviate almost everything!
What’s the best thing about living in Australia?
The outdoor scenery, including our amazing beaches. Also, Vegemite, the classic Aussie spread (make sure you learn the correct application process, do not apply it how you would Nutella).
What gives you the most satisfaction about your work?
I really enjoy knowing that we have helped our clients achieve exactly what they have aimed to do.
What’s the best thing about working for bdhSterling?
The satisfaction of assisting our clients, and the great team of people that I get to work with every day.
