At work
Jack is bdhSterling’s Australian Paraplanning Manager, based in our Perth office. He leads the Australian paraplanning function and provides technical expertise across the business. Working closely with our Financial Planners, he helps develop tailored financial strategies that support clients in achieving their long-term goals and objectives.
In his role, Jack oversees the delivery of high-quality paraplanning services, supporting Financial Planners with complex strategy development, investment research, and advice preparation. His extensive paraplanning experience, combined with a Master of Financial Planning, enables him to deliver exceptional support to both advisers and clients.
In recognition of his technical expertise and contribution to the profession, Jack was named a finalist in the Paraplanner of the Year category at the 2026 IFA Excellence Awards.
Outside of the office, Jack loves to stay active and can often be found hiking or hitting the gym.

In the UK the term “Financial Planner” refers to professionals who meet UK regulatory and qualification standards, including FCA requirements. Our UK team members hold appropriate certifications and adhere to local regulations. For easy identification, our UK advisers will have (UK) at the end of their title.
In Australia the titles “Financial Planner” and “Financial Adviser” are legally restricted under the Corporations Act. Only ASIC-registered professionals listed on the Financial Adviser Register may use these titles when providing personal advice. Our Australian team complies fully with these requirements, and their credentials can be verified via the ASIC register.
