Jordan has a passion for pensions and strives to produce high quality work wherever possible. Jordan joined bdhSterling in January 2017, initially in our administration team. In his current role, he liaises with our financial planners to produce suitability reports for our Cross-Border clients.

Jordan helps orchestrate pension transfers to Australia, especially during the busy end of tax year season, as well as arranging investments and currency trades. He also sits on our Investment Committee which reviews the ongoing suitability of our approved product partners.

What’s your best tip for anyone moving to the UK?

Always do something when it is a nice day; you’ll never know when the next one will come.

What’s the best thing about living in the UK?

It’s the home of football, or ‘soccer’ for the Australians. There’s nothing like enjoying the 2 weeks of summer, in a pub garden watching England fail to win the World Cup again.

What do you miss about living in Australia?

I have only stayed for extended holidays, but I would definitely say the weather and the more relaxed atmosphere. I absolutely miss ‘Solo’, which is easily the best soft drink ever invented!

What’s the best thing about working for bdhSterling?

The company is like a family, we all get along with each other and work hard for one another.

What’s the best financial tip for anyone moving from Australia to the UK?

Consider pension contributions in the UK as the UK government will top them up.
