Gerard is a Client Administrator within bdhSterling’s Pension Transfer team, providing administrative and client support throughout the advice process. Working closely with advisers, pension providers and clients, he helps coordinate information requests, ensure documentation is completed accurately, and support the smooth progression of each case through the advice process.
Originally from Australia, Gerard previously worked for both the Commonwealth Bank of Australia and National Australia Bank. Here he supported customers across branch and telephone banking services. These roles enabled him to develop strong communication, customer service and problem-solving skills. He has also gained experience across a range of industries, including manufacturing, hospitality, oil and gas, and a family-run agricultural distribution business, giving him a broad perspective and practical, client-focused approach.
Gerard holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) from the University of Melbourne.
Outside of work, Gerard is a passionate Australian Rules Football fan and proudly supports the Western Bulldogs. Before relocating to the UK, he spent two years living in Canada, where he took every opportunity to get out on the slopes and develop a love for snowboarding.
