Melissa helps with the day to day running of the UK administration team and has a strong background in the pension transfer process and industry as a whole. She believes that planning for later life is crucial to ensure a comfortable (and fun-filled!) retirement. She has a meticulous eye for detail and is always looking for ways we can improve the service we provide to our clients.
Before working for bdhSterling, Melissa worked for Legal & General in the Pensions Administration Team, where she was responsible for administrating clients’ pension savings from the initial set up to retirement and undertook several projects to improve customer service.
What’s your best tip for anyone moving to the UK?
Travel the country as much as you can! The UK has some incredible places to visit – from London’s historical landmarks to the glorious Lake District.
What’s the best thing about living in the UK?
The weather of course! Rainy days mean colourful umbrellas, bitter cold means snazzy jumpers and heatwaves mean cool drinks in a garden!
What’s the best thing about working for bdhSterling?
As a smaller company with a family feel, I feel my work has value, rather than feeling like a “tiny cog in a big machine”.
What gives you the most satisfaction at work?
When hard work really pays off. We like to cheer and applaud people when we achieve a success for a client!
