Khan joined bdhSterling in 2011 as the firm’s very first employee, beginning his career in financial services as an Administrator. His dedication and leadership led to his promotion to Office Manager in 2014, where he successfully oversaw both the Administration and Paraplanning departments.

Today, Khan serves as our Financial Planning Director (UK), responsible for ensuring that our systems, processes, and controls empower the bdhSterling team to deliver a consistently exceptional client experience across the UK and internationally.

Khan is also approved by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to hold bdhSterling’s Senior Manager Functions, including Compliance and Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) responsibilities.

Outside of the office, you’ll find Khan making music, playing the piano, enjoying a game of football and spending quality time with his family and friends.

What’s your best tip for anyone moving to the UK?

The UK has lots of history, landmarks and places to see. Do some research on towns before moving here and ensure there is a nice local pub serving traditional Sunday roasts...you won’t be sorry.

What’s the best thing about living in the UK?

Being able to visit so many countries close by which are just a short flight away.

What do you miss about living in Australia?

Beaches, sunshine and day trips to the vineyards.
