Nick Bond

Senior Financial Planner

At work

Nick has worked in financial services since 2008, specialising in pension transfer advice and broader cross-border financial planning. He is a qualified Financial Adviser in both in the UK and Australia, placing him in a strong position to identify complex cross border advice needs. Nick is also a Pension Transfer Specialist, and over the years has successfully helped hundreds of clients transfer their pensions to Australia for their retirement.

Nick began his career with bdhSterling in the UK shortly after the company was founded. In 2014, he got a taste for the Australian way of life and moved to Sydney, where he continued to deepen his expertise and support expatriate clients. More recently, he has relocated to Dubai for family reasons, as his wife teaches at an international school. Living in Dubai means Nick is ideally placed to hold initial meetings with clients across multiple time zones, from the UK through to Australia, offering flexibility and accessibility at the earliest stages of your advice journey.

All regulated advice, however, continues to be delivered through our UK or Australian advice teams, ensuring clients receive the highest standard of guidance under the appropriate regulatory framework.

As an expat himself, Nick understands the challenges facing his clients and their families when they make the decision to move abroad. This unique insight allows him to approach each individual situation with empathy and compassion.

I have been impressed with bdhSterling service over a number of years. They assisted me in moving and consolidating UK pension funds into an Australian SMSF. Subsequently this has operated smoothly with sound investment advice and flexibility for me to manage some of the portfolio. Billy Tomlin has been an excellent advisor, supported by a good administration team and manager, Nick Bond.
