Rachel works in the Finance department. Her goal is to complete all tasks and more to the best of her ability and contribute to the continuous development and improvement of bdhSterling as a whole. She previously worked for Igloo as a metering analyst. Rachel has a Bsc Honours in Economics and Accounting and is currently studying for her ACCA exams.
In her free time, she enjoys watching sports such as football and basketball, entertaining tv shows on Netflix, travelling to new places and trying out different types of cuisines.
What’s your best tip for anyone moving to UK?
Educate yourself on the cost of living. The cost of food in the UK (London specifically) is lower than it is in Australia, take some time to look at some grocery comparison sites. Never pay full price! As there are various discounts sites and vouchers available all the time. Lastly take advantage of any free services such as museums, exhibitions, and festivals.
What’s the best thing about living in UK?
The variety of activities you can do daily. There is always something entertaining to do here ranging from camping trips and hikes to amusement parks, theatres, and restaurants.
What gives you the most satisfaction at work?
Being able to work efficiently and comfortably with my team and colleagues in other departments. Whenever I am unsure, they are always quick to offer me assistance when I need it.
What’s the best thing about working for bdhSterling?
Being able to witness the company values being satisfied at first hand. TEAMWORK: whenever I am in the office every department cooperates and communicates extremely well with each other. CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: It’s always clear there is no finish line once the day is up. There is always something everyone seeks to do better. INTEGRITY: Overall it is easy to see that bdhSterling has built a large and loyal rapport with their clients.
