What’s your best tip for anyone moving to Australia?
Pick a ‘footy’ team…everyone asks if you have one?!
What’s the best thing about living in Australia?
The outdoors. There is so much to see and do here - so get out and start exploring!
What gives you the most satisfaction about your work?
Genuinely being able to make a difference to my clients' financial futures.
What’s the best thing about working for bdhSterling?
You are surrounded by colleagues who are passionate about their work.
Why is financial planning so important?
The future is unknown, so it’s important to have a plan in place that can steer us through what is to come.
When should someone who is moving overseas get financial advice?
Before, during and after. There are plenty of planning opportunities throughout the whole moving process.
What’s your best financial tip for anyone moving from the UK to Australia?
Many of my clients think they won’t be entitled to the UK State pension, when in fact they will! The UK State pension is not means tested and so can provide a great income base in retirement.
