At work

Deborah works in our Operations team, where she assists our Operations Manager in maintaining and improving the quality of service provided to bdhSterling clients. She helps with the planning, research, organisation and implementation of new service propositions. Deborah is also responsible for managing and maintaining external relationships with office suppliers and providing support to all internal departments.

Before joining bdh, Deborah gained a wealth of experience working in managerial roles within both the financial and education sectors.

Deborah is a mum to one, as well as an avid lover of nature, travel, good food, craft gins and free-range produce!  In her spare time, she loves to horse-ride and swim.

What’s your best tip for anyone moving to the UK?

Integrate, embrace, adapt… to the local culture, the UK weather and explore what this amazing country has to offer. Always remember to take a jacket with you wherever you go as 4 seasons in one day is a very real possibility!

What’s the best thing about living in the UK?

I love the very distinctive seasons… it could be wrapping up warmly in autumn to enjoy a brisk walk in the sunshine; sitting by the fireplace reading a good book in winter; walking in the Surrey Hills and enjoying the beautiful (and colourful) countryside in spring or visiting the fantastic beaches and swimming on a balmy summer's day!

What gives you the most satisfaction at work?

Achieving and delivering on various projects or goals and seeing the positive results and impact. Collaboration, teamwork and communication are all key factors for successful endeavours.
